The traffic accident happened yesterday, September 26, around 4:30 p.m. in the village of Rudne, Lviv district.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the Kia car, a 22-year-old local resident, collided with the Bogdan bus driven by a 35-year-old man from Lviv. As a result of the accident, the passenger of the car was injured, as well as the driver and five passengers of the bus, all residents of Lviv region, including one five-year-old child and two minors aged 15 and 16. They were taken to medical facilities.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Department of Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Transport of the Lviv Oblast Police opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
An investigation is underway, law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
