
In the settlement of Ivano-Frankove in Yavoriv district, rescuers helped a woman who had become stuck in a marshy area on the grounds of a local pond.
The incident occurred on 21 August. Children who were fishing at the pond noticed a woman who had ended up in the mud due to the shallowing of the water and was unable to get out on her own. They immediately informed nearby adults, who then called the rescue service.
Emergency responders from the settlement of Ivano-Frankove arrived at the scene. Using a rope, they reached the woman, pulled her out of the mud and carried her to the shore.
After the rescue, the woman was handed over to ambulance staff for examination. Thanks to the children’s vigilance and the prompt actions of the adults and rescuers, the woman was saved in time.
