At the Shehyni–Medyka border crossing on 10 March, customs officers discovered undeclared computer equipment during an inspection of a Citroën entering Ukraine.
The owner of the vehicle — a 46-year-old resident of Lviv Oblast — had chosen the red channel and declared only personal belongings and 320 kg of second-hand clothing (men’s and women’s). A thorough inspection, however, revealed considerably more.
Among the cargo, customs officers found 200 Raspberry Pi single-board computers, which the owner had not included in her declaration. The estimated value of the seized goods is 1,350,000 hryvnias.
Following the inspection, officials drew up an administrative report in accordance with Part 2 of Article 471 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
