At the Shehyni – Medyka checkpoint, customs officers together with border guards discovered an undeclared dental alloy with an estimated value of 500,000 hryvnias.
During an inspection of a Peugeot passenger car, customs officers found 100 plastic packages containing dental alloy. The vehicle was driven by a 64-year-old resident of Ternopil region, who was travelling from the Republic of Poland and had chosen the “green corridor” for control.
The man failed to declare materials for the manufacture of dental prostheses. As a result, 100 kg of Realloy dental alloy with an estimated value of 500,000 hryvnias were temporarily seized.
An administrative report was drawn up in this case under Part 2 of Article 471 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
