In the village of Trudolyubivka in Sheptytskyi district, firefighters extinguished a fire at a private property that broke out in the afternoon of 9 June.
The report of a fire in an outbuilding reached the firefighters at 16:16. Crews from the towns of Sokal and Sheptytskyi responded to the call.
By the time the firefighters arrived, the flames had already engulfed the interior of the building and were rapidly spreading through the wooden roof structures, posing a risk of the fire spreading to the residential house. Due to heavy smoke, the firefighters worked in specialist breathing and eye protection apparatus.
The fire was contained at 17:08 and by 17:21 the blaze had been fully extinguished. A total of 9 firefighters and 2 units of specialist equipment were involved in tackling the fire.
No one was injured in the incident. Experts are currently establishing the causes and circumstances of the blaze.
