A man was detained in the Sheptytskyi district for a false bomb threat report.
On July 10, at around 19:10, a report was received by the police about a bomb threat on Vyshnevaya Street in the village of Huta. Bomb disposal experts and an investigative team were dispatched to the scene. No explosive devices were found.
The police established that the false report was made by a 33-year-old resident of the district. He has been detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
A criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 259 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for a punishment of imprisonment from two to six years. The pre-trial investigation continues.
