Three students in Sheptytskyi dumped trash on a teacher’s aide — court fines their parents

An unpleasant incident occurred at the Hryhory Luhovsky Family Gymnasium in Sheptytskyi, where three students overturned a trash bin onto a teacher’s assistant in a school restroom. According to court documents published in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions, the incident took place on December 17, 2025.

Since the students involved are under the legal age of administrative responsibility, their parents were held accountable for their actions. The Sheptytskyi City Court found the parents guilty of improper fulfillment of parental duties under Part 3 of Article 184 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (CUoAO).

One of the boys — a 9-B grade student — was noted for frequently skipping classes without valid reasons, showing poor academic performance, and demonstrating indifference during lessons. Taking into account the minor’s behavior, the family’s financial situation, and other mitigating and aggravating factors, the court imposed administrative penalties.

The mother of this student, a citizen of Azerbaijan, attended the hearing and fully admitted her guilt. The other two parents — citizens of Ukraine and Azerbaijan — did not appear in court, but the cases were reviewed based on the available evidence.

Judges Mykola Novosad, Vitalii Hrabovskyi, and Nelia Otchak issued the verdicts. All three parents were fined 850 UAH. Additionally, two of them were ordered to pay court fees of 665.60 UAH and 605.60 UAH respectively.
