We all want our roads to be safer. The first step to this is a safe speed. It is not for nothing that the people say that it is better to be a few minutes late than not to arrive at all.
In January, 57 people were injured and 3 people, unfortunately, died, in road accidents caused by speeding on the roads of Lviv Oblast.
Our police officers constantly conduct preventive conversations with drivers about compliance with a safe and established speed limit. After all, a correctly chosen speed gives an opportunity to react to a change in road conditions.
At designated locations, crews operate mobile TruCam speed cameras. In the first month of the year alone, they issued more than two thousand decisions for exceeding the speed limit by drivers.
