In September 2022, a state cadastral registrar unlawfully interfered with the operation of the State Land Cadastre system. Under the guise of correcting a non-existent error, he altered the boundaries of two land plots within the territory of the Skole City Council.
The registrar acted on the basis of fabricated citizen applications. He was exposed by operatives of the criminal police and investigators from Police Department No. 2 of the Stryi District Administration under the procedural guidance of the Stryi District Prosecutor’s Office.
The investigation under Part 1, Part 3 of Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine has been completed, and the indictment has been submitted to the court. The accused faces up to six years of imprisonment with a ban on holding certain positions for up to three years.
