In the village of Sokilnyky in Lviv district, rescuers freed a dog from a two-metre-deep well from which the animal could not get out on its own.
The incident occurred on 22 October. The dog ended up in a well about two metres deep, so local residents called the rescue service for help.
The rescuers used a winch to lift the well cover, and with the help of a ladder-pole they got the four-legged animal out of the trap. After that, police officers closed the well so that no one else would fall into it.
According to the rescuers, the incident ended well and the dog was not injured.
