Recently, in the village of Sokilnyky, motorcycle patrol officers stopped a Honda motorcycle without a state license plate.
During the conversation with the 31-year-old driver, patrol policemen found signs of alcohol intoxication. The inspectors also found out that the citizen was deprived of the right to drive vehicles, as it was not the first time he had been driving drunk. The driver refused to take the test.
During the inspection of the two-wheeler, patrol policemen found signs of mechanical tampering with the VIN code, and the driver did not provide documents for the vehicle.
The patrol policemen issued a resolution under Part 1 of Article 121-3 (Violation of the requirements of the legislation on the use of vehicle number plates) and two reports: under Part 5 of Article 126 (Driving a vehicle by a person who is not entitled to drive such a vehicle, committed repeatedly within a year) and Part 2 of Article 130 (Driving a vehicle by a person who is repeatedly in a state of alcohol intoxication within a year) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences.
The investigative team arrived at the scene. The citizen faces criminal liability under Art. 290 (Destruction, forgery or replacement of vehicle parts and units) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
