In Sokilnyky firefighters rescue man from ditch

In the village of Sokilnyky in Lviv district, rescuers helped a man who was lying in a ditch on Lesi Ukrainky Street and handed him over to medics. This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv region.

The call to the Rescue Service came in the morning of 28 May at 07:12. Eyewitnesses said that there was a person in the ditch who could not get out on his own.

At the scene, emergency workers lifted a 58-year-old man from an approximately half-metre-deep recess and handed him over to an ambulance crew.

After an examination, medics hospitalised the casualty in St Luke’s Hospital of the First Territorial Medical Association of Lviv. The State Emergency Service noted that the man was in a post-seizure condition.
