A night-time accident occurred in Sokilnyky, resulting in two motorcycles catching fire. The incident happened on 26 March at 22:51, when a report of the fire was received by the rescuers.
At the scene, it was found that the motorcycles ‘Yamaha’ and ‘Honda’ had collided and ignited. The fire was localised at 23:03 and completely extinguished by 23:06.
As a result of the collision, two drivers, both born in 2003, were injured. They were hospitalised at St. Luke’s Hospital in Lviv. The fire completely destroyed both vehicles. In addition to extinguishing the fire, the rescuers also cleaned up fuel and lubricants from the road.
