The traffic accident happened on October 12, around 12:30, on Ivanyka Street in Stebnyk.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, there was a collision between a Honda Accord driven by a 65-year-old local woman and a Ford Mondeo driven by a 36-year-old resident of Drohobych.
As a result of the accident, the drivers of both cars, the passenger of the Honda Accord – a 65-year-old resident of Stebnyk, and the passenger of the Ford Mondeo – a 31-year-old resident of one of the villages of the Drogobytsky district, were injured and taken to the hospital.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Drohobytsk District Police Department opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
