In Stryi district mountain rescuers located a woman who had got lost while descending Mount Kliuch near the Kamianka waterfall and Zhuravlyne lake.
On 22 July at 21:26 the Rescue Service received a report that a woman born in 1956, a resident of Lviv, had left the main group of tourists and disappeared from sight.
At 22:58 rescuers found the missing woman in a forested area at the foot of Mount Kliuch. The search operation involved 5 mountain rescuers from Slavske, 1 specialised vehicle, 1 quad bike and an unmanned aerial vehicle. The woman did not require medical assistance.
Rescuers stress that the mountains demand responsibility: routes should be planned in advance, you should not leave marked paths, you should monitor the weather and not set off on hikes without experienced accompaniment.
