Illegal activities in the military sphere have been uncovered in the Ternopil region.
Under the procedural guidance of the Ternopil Specialized Prosecutor’s Office in the Defense Sphere of the Western Region, illegal actions by a serviceman of the district territorial recruitment and social support center were exposed. He was assisting conscripts to evade mobilization.
Investigations revealed that the 40-year-old senior instructor demanded 4 thousand US dollars from a conscript to exclude his data from the “Oberig” system and to remove him from the search list.
The serviceman claimed he had the ability to influence colleagues to “resolve the issue.” He was detained while receiving an unlawful benefit under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and was notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of influence).

Currently, the identification of other individuals who may be involved in the crime is underway.
