The 44-year-old resident of Truskavets faces imprisonment for up to ten years with confiscation of property.
As established by the criminal police operatives together with investigators of the Police Department No. 2 of the Drohobych District Police Department, the offender sold drug-containing methadone pills to the city residents.
The police documented the facts of the suspect’s sale of prohibited substances and seized material evidence.
Investigators of the territorial police unit, under the procedural supervision of the Drohobych District Prosecutor’s Office, served the offender a notice of suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 1 and Part 2 of Art. 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty facing the suspect is imprisonment for up to ten years with confiscation of property.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
The court imposed on the suspect a custody as a measure of restraint.
