In the centre of Drohobych, police broke up a conflict involving foreign nationals

On Rynok Square in Drohobych, law enforcement officers broke up a conflict between a group of men, among whom were foreign nationals. The incident was reported to the Drohobych District Police Department on 12 June.

Patrol police response units and officers of the State Security Service immediately arrived at the scene. According to the police, the incident was caused by a group of individuals breaching public order.

After being spoken to by passers-by, one of the offenders, a 22-year-old Ukrainian citizen, began behaving aggressively. The police put a stop to his unlawful actions.

The participants in the incident did not contact the police with statements regarding the commission of criminal offences and did not make any mutual complaints. At the same time, an administrative report was drawn up in respect of one of the individuals involved under Article 173 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences (petty hooliganism).
