Founder of Centre Arrested in Vinnytsia for Violence

In Vinnytsia, it has been reported that the founder of a Christian rehabilitation centre has been arrested on suspicion of violence against children over a period of 15 years. The centre, established in 2006, was intended to support children in difficult life circumstances, but, as it turned out, became a site of crimes.

The founder used trust as a tool of violence, selecting victims from gatherings of 25 to 50 children. Every corner of the centre became a crime scene: offices, rooms, and even outings in nature. The children were intimidated into silence about their experiences. The violence only ceased after the mother of a 13-year-old girl approached the police in 2021.

The investigation lasted five years, during which 10 victims aged between 8 and 14 were identified. The suspect has been charged with sexual violence and the corruption of minors and underage individuals. He has been remanded in custody without the possibility of bail.
