In the town of Vynnyky on Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Street, a fire broke out in a holiday cottage; the flames also damaged the roof of a neighbouring brick holiday cottage.
The report of the blaze was received by the Rescue Service “101” on 14 August at 22:03. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they established that one holiday cottage and the roof of the adjacent holiday cottage were on fire.
The fire was contained at 22:55 and fully extinguished at 23:19. Eleven rescuers and three units of special equipment were involved in tackling the blaze.
Specialists are currently establishing the causes and circumstances of the fire.
