
In the town of Vynnyky in Lviv district, a dog was rescued from a ditch filled with water to a depth of around three metres. The report of the incident reached the Rescue Service on 20 June at 20:15.
According to the rescuers, the animal had fallen into the ditch in an open area and was unable to get out on its own. By the time the crew arrived, the dog was in the water.
Emergency workers used a ladder and a rope to carefully lift the dog to the surface. The rescued animal was frightened but, according to the rescuers, was not injured.
