An incident occurred in Yavoriv District, where a 25-year-old man assaulted a serviceman.
According to the investigation, on December 12th in one of the villages of Yavoriv District, a 25-year-old man attacked a 42-year-old serviceman who was undergoing rehabilitation. The conflict began in a local store due to a remark made by the serviceman to the suspect’s friend. The argument escalated into a fight on the street, where the attacker continued to beat the victim even on the ground.
After the assault, the suspect filmed the victim with his phone, mocking him. The serviceman managed to return to the store, where the shopkeepers called emergency services. Currently, the victim is in the hospital, and the attacker has been located.
The Yavoriv District Prosecutor’s Office notified the suspect of suspicion of causing serious bodily harm. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Yavoriv District Police Department.
