A Daewoo overturned in Lviv Oblast – the police are investigating the circumstances of the accident
The traffic accident occurred on May 5 at 2:30 p.m. in the Yavoriv district on the highway near the village of Rogizno.
As previously established by law enforcement officers, the driver of the Daewoo Nexia car, a 32-year-old resident of one of the villages of the district, lost control of the vehicle and drove off the roadway into a ditch. As a result of the accident, the driver of the Daewoo and three passengers of the passenger car – a 53-year-old woman and two children aged 10 and 11 – sought medical help.
According to the fact, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
The police are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
