On Lvivska Street in Zhovkva, a road traffic collision occurred in which a 13-year-old passenger of an electric scooter was injured. The incident took place on 6 August at around 14:00.
According to preliminary police information, a 13-year-old resident of Zhovkva, while riding an electric scooter, lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn.
As a result of the collision, the passenger of the electric scooter, a 13-year-old local resident, was injured. The girl sustained bodily injuries and was taken to hospital.
Investigators from the Children's Criminal Proceedings Investigation Unit of the Lviv Region Police have opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of road safety rules). Law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
