On 8 July, rescuers received a report that a woman had fallen into a well about 5 metres deep in the village of Zymna Voda, Lviv district.
Rescuers from Lviv were sent to the scene.
The fire and rescue department used a fire belt and a winch to bring the victim to the surface. After being examined by doctors, the woman was hospitalised in moderate condition.
Two units of special equipment and 9 rescuers were engaged to provide assistance.
