In Zimnaya Voda, two pedestrians were injured as a result of the collision of an “ambulance”

The patient in the ambulance was also injured.

The traffic accident occurred on November 23, around 10:30 p.m., on the Lviv-Sheghini highway in the village of Zimna Voda, Lviv district.

As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the Citroen ambulance, a 62-year-old man from Lviv, driving with blue flashing beacons on, hit two pedestrians: a 17-year-old resident of Vynnykiv and an 18-year-old resident of one of the villages of the Lviv district .

As a result of the accident, both pedestrians and the patient, a 52-year-old resident of one of the villages of the district, were injured and taken to a medical facility.

According to the fact, investigators of police department No. 3 of Lviv district police department No. 2 opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.

Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
