
A minor motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a car in the Lviv region.
The traffic accident occurred on October 2, around 16:00, in the village of Boryatyn, Sheptytsk District. Preliminary investigations by law enforcement officers revealed a collision between a Skoda Octavia, driven by a 31-year-old resident of the district, and a Voge 300RR motorcycle operated by a 17-year-old resident of the Sheptytsk District. As a result, the minor motorcyclist sustained physical injuries and was hospitalized.
The investigators from the Sheptytsk District Police Department opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 286 “Violation of traffic safety rules” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the article is a restriction of freedom for up to three years with the deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years. Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
