A traffic accident occurred in the Lviv district, injuring the driver of a car.
The accident took place on June 24, at about 23:30, in the village of Pasiky-Zubrytski, Lviv district. **Law enforcement officials** have preliminarily established that a Skoda Kamiq, driven by a 21-year-old resident from one of the villages in Lviv district, collided with a MAN TGX truck, driven by a 64-year-old resident of the Lviv district.
As a result of the accident, the car’s driver sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized in intensive care. Based on the incident, investigators from Police Department No. 3 of Lviv District Police Department No. 2 have initiated criminal proceedings under part 1 of Article 286 “Violation of Traffic Safety Rules” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty under the article is up to three years of restraint of liberty, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
