Car Collision in Skole: 15-Year-Old Girl Injured
The road traffic incident occurred on May 5, around 14:00, on Knyaz Svyatoslav Street in the town of Skole, Stryi district.
Accident Circumstances
According to preliminary findings by law enforcement, the driver of an Opel Vectra vehicle, a 32-year-old resident of a village in the Stryi district, collided with a pedestrian, a 15-year-old local resident.
As a result of the accident, the girl sustained physical injuries and was hospitalized.
Investigation
The investigators of Police Department No. 3 of the Stryi District Police Department have opened a criminal case under Article 286, Part 1 (Violation of Road Traffic Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the article sanctions is up to three years of restricted freedom, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
