Three injured, including a pregnant woman, as a result of a car collision in Lviv region – police establish circumstances of the incident
A road accident involving three cars occurred on 17 November, around 17:50, on Lvivska Street in Horodok.
As law enforcement officers have preliminarily established, a Volkswagen ID 4 driven by a 23-year-old resident of the district, a Volkswagen Passat driven by a 26-year-old resident of Lviv, and a Ford Mondeo driven by a 34-year-old resident of Lviv region collided.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the Ford Mondeo, his pregnant passenger, and the driver of the Volkswagen ID 4 were injured and taken to medical facilities.
Investigators of the Police Department No. 1 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 opened criminal proceedings over the incident under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of the rules of road safety) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the sanction of the article is restraint of liberty for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
