In Novyi Rozdil, a traffic accident occurred, resulting in injuries to a cyclist.
The incident took place on June 15th around 13:30 on Dovzhenko Boulevard in the city of Novyi Rozdil, Stryi district. According to preliminary data, the driver of a Daewoo Lanos, a 48-year-old resident of Novyi Rozdil, hit a 28-year-old local woman riding a bicycle.
As a result of the accident, the cyclist sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized. Following the incident, investigators from the police division of Stryi District Police Department initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for **imprisonment for up to three years**.
Law enforcement is continuing to investigate the circumstances of the event.
