Even on a weekend, drivers were in a hurry, leading to numerous speeding incidents. According to the patrol police of the Lviv region, this is one of the main causes of traffic accidents with serious consequences. During speed checks conducted in a residential area, these speeds were recorded.
A TruCam laser device is used to detect violations, ensuring safety on accident-prone sections. Drivers are warned by appropriate road signs about speed monitoring.
Exceeding the posted speed limit by more than 20 km/h results in a fine of a specified amount of hryvnias, while speeding over 50 km/h incurs a different penalty amount.
