Yesterday, a Mercedes minibus followed dinner through the Krakow checkpoint in the Lviv region to enter Ukraine. The car was driven by a 43-year-old Ukrainian.
During the inspection, the man stated that he was transporting citizens and their personal belongings. However, based on the analysis and risk assessment, border guards decided to inspect the car in more detail. In the course of which, together with customs officials, 23 mining devices were discovered in the luggage compartment, among the cargo.
Based on this fact, the customs officers drew up a report on the violation of customs rules.
Devices for mining cryptocurrency, the preliminary amount of which was estimated at almost 700,000 hryvnias, were seized.
