A wanted Ukrainian woman was stopped at the Rava-Ruska checkpoint by border guards of the 7th Carpathian Border Guard Detachment.
During the inspection, one of the databases was triggered by the documents of a 37-year-old Ukrainian citizen. It turned out that the woman was wanted by law enforcement officers of Vinnytsia region for failure to comply with the legal requirements stipulated by a court verdict under Part 3 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – “Theft, combined with breaking and entering into a dwelling, other premises or storage or causing significant damage to the victim”.
The border guards informed the National Police about the incident. The person was handed over to law enforcement for further legal action.
