Lviv district: professional firefighters together with local fire brigade extinguished a fire in a residential building
On 15 October, at 18:43, the Rescue Service “101” received a report of a fire in the village of Rata on 22 Sichnia Street, Lviv district. The fire broke out in a two-storey brick residential building covered with tin, measuring 10×7 metres.
Rescuers from the 48th State Fire and Rescue Post of Rava Ruska and the local fire brigade of the village of Hiyche were sent to the scene.
When the firefighters arrived at the scene, the roof of the building was on fire. At 18:58, the firefighters contained the fire and at 19:16 eliminated it.
The fire was extinguished by 3 rescuers and 1 unit of special equipment from the State Emergency Service and 2 employees and 1 unit of special equipment from the local fire brigade.
