
A traffic accident occurred in the Lviv region, resulting in injuries to a pedestrian and a motorcyclist.
The incident took place on June 27 around 23:10 on the bypass road of Lviv, in the village of Sokilnyky, Lviv district. According to preliminary data, “the driver of the Honda CB500 motorcycle, a 22-year-old resident of Lviv, hit a pedestrian, a 66-year-old Lviv resident,” law enforcement authorities report.
As a result of the accident, both participants sustained bodily injuries and were taken to the hospital. Following the incident, investigators from Police Department No. 3 of the Lviv District Police Administration No. 2 opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for imprisonment for up to three years.
Law enforcement is continuing to establish the circumstances of the event.
