On July 2, at 09:58, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the village. Falconers of Lviv district. The fire started in a garage made of gas blocks, measuring 6×4 m.
Firefighters from the city of Lviv and an operational group were dispatched to the scene.
As it turned out on the spot, the garage was attached to a two-story utility building. By the time the fire department arrived, the fire had already spread through the wooden structures of the roof.
Thanks to the timely involvement of forces and means, it was possible to promptly eliminate the fire and prevent the fire from spreading. At 10:13 a.m. firefighters contained the fire, and at 10:17 a.m. it was extinguished as part of the gas and smoke protection service unit. As a result of the fire, household items on an area of 5 square meters were destroyed by fire. Wall cladding on an area of 20 square meters and a ceiling on an area of 24 square meters were also damaged.
10 personnel and 2 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
No one was injured in the fire. The circumstances of the event and the cause of the fire are being established.
