A traffic accident occurred in Truskavets, resulting in injuries to a cyclist.
The accident happened on July 23 at around 19:25 on Sahaydachnoho Street in Truskavets, Drohobych district. According to preliminary data, a BMW 525 car driven by a 50-year-old local resident collided with a bicycle operated by a 32-year-old resident of a village in Zolochiv district.
As a result of the accident, the cyclist sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized. Investigators from police station No. 2 of the Drohobych district police department have opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for up to three years of restricted freedom with the deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
Law enforcement officers continue to establish the circumstances of the incident.
