At the request of prosecutors, the High Anti-Corruption Court has chosen preventive measures for participants in the embezzlement scheme involving the construction of strategic defense facilities for Ukrainian aviation. This was reported by SpecprokuraturaZahidRegion.
The Commander of Logistics of the Ukrainian Air Force and the Head of the SBU Department in the Zhytomyr region have been taken into custody. The court set an alternative bail for the SBU official at 6.9 million UAH, and for the Air Force official at 7 million UAH.
Due to the court’s decision to set a bail amount twice as low as requested by the prosecution, prosecutors are preparing appeals against the court’s decision on preventive measures.
