In Bryukhovychi, the destruction of greenery has occurred: young thujas, planted two years ago, were uprooted. Paving stones are now being installed in their place. This has caused outrage in the Office of Agglomeration and Community Development of the LMR, which is preparing an administrative protocol to hold those responsible accountable.
The incident happened on Sukhomlynsky Street, near a children’s playground. The trees, planted by the Community Office staff, were destroyed over the weekend. This is a continuation of a story that began two years ago when there were two old kiosks on this site. One of them lacked the necessary permits, so it was listed for demolition.
After the illegal kiosk was dismantled, the area was planted with thujas. However, recently, a kiosk of a larger area has reappeared, and paving stones have been laid next to it. The work is carried out late in the evening or on weekends, and the planted trees were uprooted and discarded.
The workers laying the paving stones noted that a summer terrace is planned here. However, the Office of Agglomeration claims that no requests for permission to install such a terrace have been submitted to the city council. Therefore, they are drafting a report on the violation of improvement rules and preparing an appeal to the relevant authorities.
