Law enforcement officers once again remind all road users: be as careful as possible on the road and strictly follow the Traffic Rules. Take care of life and health – your own and those around you.
Thus, during the specified period, 3,094 traffic accidents were registered on the highways of Lviv and the region, 499 of which involved casualties. In these car accidents, 65 people died, and 665 received injuries of varying degrees of severity.
The police of the Lviv region urge drivers: do not exceed the permitted speed, do not make risky maneuvers, keep a distance, be as attentive as possible when approaching intersections and pedestrian crossings.
And law enforcement officers remind pedestrians: cross the road only in authorized places, and in the dark time of day, mark yourself with reflective elements – this will make you visible to the driver and allow you to avoid being hit.
