A serviceman from Khmelnytskyi region has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for state treason. Prosecutors from the Khmelnytskyi specialized defense prosecution of the Western region proved in court the guilt of a 36-year-old resident of the Chemerivtsi district, who, for selfish and ideological reasons, passed information about Ukrainian military personnel to the enemy.
According to the investigation, the previously convicted serviceman systematically transmitted to a representative of the FSB of the Russian Federation the coordinates of the locations and movements of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the location of military equipment, weapons, ammunition, checkpoints, as well as critical infrastructure objects during January-February 2024. He sent the obtained intelligence information through one of the messengers.
