The traffic accident occurred on December 28, around 6:40 a.m., on the Kurovychi-Rohatyn highway in the village of Korosno, Lviv district
As previously determined by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the Ford Mondeo, a 44-year-old resident of the city of Przemyśljana, lost control and drove into a ditch, where the car overturned.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the car and three of his female passengers from Przemyśl, aged 41, 49 and 52, were injured and hospitalized.
According to the fact, investigators of police department No. 2 of the Lviv district police department No. 2 opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of three to eight years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years or without it.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
