The traffic accident occurred on May 7, around 7:30 p.m., in the village of Remeniv, Lviv district.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the “Mustang 150” motorcycle, a 44-year-old local resident, lost control and drove into a concrete flowerbed.
As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist received bodily injuries and was hospitalized in intensive care.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Police Department No. 1 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty stipulated by the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
