The traffic accident happened on February 29, around 08:00, on Budivelnykiv Street in Zhydachevo.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the Sabur SB motorcycle, an 18-year-old resident of one of the villages of the Stryi district, lost control, drove off the road and into a concrete fence.
The motorcycle driver died at the scene of the injuries sustained as a result of the accident. The passenger of the two-wheeler, a 16-year-old resident of the district, was injured and hospitalized.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Department of Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Transport of the Lviv Oblast Police opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 (Violation of Traffic Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
