On March 11, at 23:58, it was reported that a car VOLKSWAGEN BORA and a truck MERCEDES had collided on the highway near the village of Kyikiv, Zolochiv district.
As a result of the accident, the 23-year-old driver of the car died on the spot from his injuries. The man’s body was crushed by the deformed structures of the car. Rescuers used hydraulic tools to unblock the body from the car.
To prevent a fire, the rescuers also disconnected the battery in the VOLKSWAGEN.
Three rescuers and one unit of special equipment were engaged to eliminate the consequences of the accident.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the causes and circumstances of the accident.
