During routine patrol near a shopping mall on Kulparkivska Street, officers of the Lviv Region Patrol Police recorded a violation of vehicle stopping and parking regulations.
A Jeep Wrangler was spotted at a public transport stop, parked in a space reserved for people with disabilities. In an attempt to avoid liability, the driver positioned the vehicle on a pile of snow, but this maneuver did not prevent enforcement action.
Police officers promptly responded and identified the driver as a 38-year-old man. Following the inspection, an official violation notice was issued in accordance with current legislation.
Key details of the incident include:
- stopping a vehicle in a space designated for people with disabilities;
- lack of legal grounds for using such a parking space;
- violation of traffic regulations;
- administrative liability under Part 6 of Article 122 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
This provision applies to drivers who stop or park in areas intended exclusively for vehicles driven by persons with disabilities or those transporting individuals with disabilities.
Law enforcement officers emphasize that all drivers must strictly follow traffic rules. Parking should be carried out in compliance with regulations, not personal convenience. Responsible behavior on the road demonstrates respect for others and contributes to overall safety.
