On Saint John Paul II Avenue, patrol officers recorded a traffic violation: the driver of a Toyota Prius had been travelling in a lane designated exclusively for public transport.
Inspectors pulled the offender over to establish the circumstances. The driver initially expressed indignation, then resorted to threats — announcing that he would report the officers for allegedly demanding a bribe.
“I’ll report that you demanded a bribe”
Officers conducted a preventative discussion with the offender, after which a ruling was issued under Part 3 of Article 122 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences — for driving in a public transport lane.
