On the “Lviv-Shehyni” highway in the village of Zymna Voda, a tragic road traffic accident occurred. On 22 April, at approximately 17:20, a 63-year-old woman from Lviv, driving a Hyundai Elantra, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a barrier.
As a result of the accident, the driver sustained serious bodily injuries and, despite resuscitation efforts, died at the scene. Investigators from Police Department No. 3 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 have opened a criminal case under part 2 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding this incident.
Law enforcement officers continue to establish the circumstances of this tragic event.
