Escape from Military Units in Volyn for Money: Suspicion Announced

In Volyn, a group has been identified that likely assisted servicemen in unlawfully leaving military units and training centres, receiving between 8,000 and 15,000 USD per person for this service.

The Volyn Specialised Prosecutor’s Office for Defence in the Western region has announced suspicion against three participants of the scheme, including two former military personnel and a civilian. Suspicions have also been issued to two service members who utilised this scheme.

The organisers of the channel were found to be 29 and 38-year-old natives of the Lutsk district, both former servicemen, as well as a 30-year-old resident of the Kivertsi district. According to the investigation, their experience in service and contacts with military personnel helped them understand how to bypass control and avoid checks.
